Following the release of their 2004 self-titled EP and the surprising success of their subsequent summer tour, The Empty have given birth to their much anticipated first full-length, More Positive Material.  In the fall of 2004, Singer Sean Dant, guitarist Bobby Dezfulli, and bassist Jake Schmitt took a hiatus from their almost kinetic live performances to experiment with new instruments and full attention to the songwriting process.  The Empty reemerged into the Northwest scene after six challenging months of acoustic writing sessions and countless hours in cramped apartment studios and friends' garages.  Uniting with long lost pal, drummer Matt Humiston, for the recording process in March 2005, the Empty now eagerly await the August 15th release and supporting tour dates for More Positive Material.
