NPR has featured Head of Femur's Great Plains on their Second Stage podcast. The podcast includes a review of the album, wich you can read here. Great Plains is now available in our online store and in retail stores and download services nationwide.
Southerly's Krist Krueger is headed out on a solo tour this week, hitting the "Highline". Check the tours page for info on show dates; the tour will kick off this Wednesday here in town at the Towne Lounge with Slim Moon and What Army!
Southerly has landed safely in Europe! We heard from songwriter Krist Krueger today from Gatwick airport, he and Casey are currently drinking away a 9 hour layover before their connecting flight to the mainland and the start of their six week tour throughout the EU. For dates, check our tours page.

Minmae have returned from their 6 week tour! The tour was overall quite successful, with high turnouts and solid merch sales including a vast number of their limited edition tour EP, a one-sided vinyl with hand painted/screened jackets available only direct from the band and in our online store. You can still get your copy direct from us while supplies last! Minmae will be working on a new full-length and planning out new tours, so stay tuned for updates...
Our own Hannah Wright (our European manager) has been granted a fellowship in the West Bank of Israel! She will be there from June through August, working with WATC to promote women's participation in conflict resolution and state-building, whilst producing research on the experiences of Palestinian women activists. We have finally returned from Austin, TX and are back in the bleak and rainy Northwest! A special thank you to all the people who came out to support our party last Wednesday: for those of you we met, it was great to finally meet you; those of you we didn't, we hope you had a good time. For those of you who didn't receive free drink tickets (we were as thorough as we could be), drop us a line if you're ever in Portland and we'll buy you a pint.
